Mecca of Death

During the 2024 election season, our airwaves were flooded with abortion politics. New Mexico has become a popular destination for women seeking abortions — essentially a Mecca of death in the Southwest.

In Genesis 4, after Cain killed his brother Abel, God said Abel’s blood cried out to Him from the ground. Cain destroyed Abel’s body, but not his spirit and soul. In the same way, while a baby’s body can be aborted, his or her spirit and soul live on. God Himself knits each one together in the womb.

Genesis 9:6 declares: “Whoever sheds man’s blood, by man shall his blood be shed; for in the image of God He made man.”

We constantly hear complaints about crime and violence in New Mexico. Yet abortion cheapens the value of human life. When a society accepts the taking of innocent life before birth, it becomes easier to devalue life after birth.

Many claim that being pro-life is only a religious issue, not a political one. But that’s not true. Abortion affects all of us because our tax dollars help fund it. When we vote, we vote with blood on our hands.

In New Mexico, we have Hispanic blood on our hands. Nationally, we have Black blood on our hands. These are the two groups most heavily targeted by the abortion industry.
